Call Ayres at 518.673.5670 or email adopt.ayresshelter@gmail.com to get on the list for upcoming clinics.  Please be patient, we do not have a vet on staff. We are only able to do the clinics as often as the vet is able to offer them.

Dog Spay (Female) Prices:
Under 20 pounds - $90
21 to 40 pounds - $105
41 to 60 pounds - $125
61 to 75 pounds - $145
76 to 90 pounds - $165
91 to 109 Pounds - $185
Over 110 pounds - $220

Cats:
Cat Spay - $70
 
Dog Neuter (Male) Prices:
Under 20 pounds - $70
20 to 50 pounds - $85
50 to 60 pounds - $115
61 to 75 pounds - $125
76 to 110 pounds - $135
Over 110 pounds - $145

Cats:
Cat Neuter - $45

Every animal must have a valid rabies certificate.
Rabies and Distemper Vaccinations, as well as Micro-chipping are offered at the clinics.
Deposits are required by a date discussed at sign up to hold your spot for the clinic.
Prices are subject to change due to weight, age and/or breed.

Why Spay and Neuter?

Benefits of Spaying (females):

-No heat cycles, therefore males will not be attracted

-Less desire to roam

-Risk of mammary gland tumors, ovarian and/or uterine cancer is reduced or eliminated, especially if done before the first heat cycle

-Reduces number of unwanted cats/kittens/dogs/puppies

-Helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives

Benefits of Neutering (males):

-Reduces or eliminates risk of spraying and marking

-Less desire to roam, therefore less likely to be injured in fights or auto accidents

-Risk of testicular cancer is eliminated, and decreases incidence of prostate disease

-Reduces number of unwanted cats/kittens/dogs/puppies

-Decreases aggressive behavior, including dog bites

-Helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives
